The 2nd edition of NAEMT's Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course is a 2-day course that teaches EMS practitioners and other prehospital providers how to respond to and care for patients in an active shooter or other civilian tactical environment. This course is accredited by CAPCE for 16 hours of continuing education credit, and recognized by NREMT.
NAEMT's Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) 9th edition is recognized around the world as the leading continuing education program for prehospital emergency trauma care. The mission of PHTLS is to promote excellence in trauma patient management by all providers involved in the delivery of prehospital care. This 2-day course is accredited by CAPCE for 16 hours of continuing education credit, and recognized by NREMT.
For a more flexible delivery method, the hybrid PHTLS Hybrid course combines an 8-hour online portion and an 8-hour classroom skills portion.
The Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC) course focuses on critical pediatric physiology, illnesses, injuries and interventions to help EMS practitioners provide the best treatment for sick and injured children in the field. The course stresses critical thinking skills to help practitioners make the best decisions for their young patient. Students complete an online portion prior to attending the 8-hour classroom session.
Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC-LEO) teaches first responders to manage life-threatening injuries in situations where seconds matter. It is designed to decrease preventable deaths in tactical situations.
Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) remains the gold standard of education for emergency medical assessment and treatment. Endorsed by the National Association of EMS Physicians, AMLS emphasizes the use of the AMLS Assessment Pathway, a systematic tool for assessing and managing common medical conditions with urgent accuracy.
The All Hazards Disaster Response (AHDR) course teaches students how to respond to the many types of disaster scenarios they may encounter, including natural disasters and infrastructure failings, fires and radiological events, pandemics, active shooter incidents, and other mass casualty events. AHDR educates participants on how to analyze potential threats in their area, assess available resources, and create a response plan that will save lives.
The NAEMT virtual refresher course is built from NAEMT’s evidence-based continuing education course and is recognized by NREMT
Operations- Describe how crew resource management enhances patient and provider safety; Identify the risks associated with emergency vehicle operations; Recognize methods for safe and effective patient transport; Identify methods for implementing a culture of safety; Describe the importance of research and evidence-based guidelines in the prehospital setting.

This 4-hour course was originally delivered at the National Conference on EMS in 2019. It is designed to educate EMS providers on the history of modern day active shooter events and discuss the paradigm shift of the response to these incidents.
There will be ample instruction on tourniquet use and other bleeding control techniques that can used not only during critical incidents but during every day responses. Participants will receive 4 CEUs for this course.
This course provides an overview of legal and illicit drugs EMTs, Paramedics, and other first responders might encounter on the street. Packaging, routes of ingestion, physiological effects and other details will be discussed. The presenter is a veteran Paramedic/Police Officer who has experience as a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE). 2.0 CEUs will be awarded.
A 2-hour course intended to give you the tools to verbally de-escalate potentially volatile situations while improving your ability to communicate more effectively in general. Attendees will be awarded 2 CEUs.
The importance of writing a concise report that accurately documents what occurred during a call can not be overstated. Court proceedings often happen years after the call, and a well- written report might be your only recollection. Students will be immersed in an interactive experience complete with mock legal proceedings.
This course is designed to teach EMS providers to function effectively while limiting disruption of crime scenes. By improving situational awareness, EMS providers can assist law enforcement with their investigation while still ensuring that patient care is always the priority. As part of this class, students will walk through a mock crime scene for a realistic view of the concepts being presented.

Students will perform CPR and use an AED for adults, children, and infants. They will demonstrate proficiency in relieving choking in adults, children, and infants as both a solo responder and as part of two-person team using a bag valve mask (BVM) for ventilation.
After completing an online course, students attend this 2 hour skills session to review resuscitation of an adult patient in cardiac arrest or a peri-arrest situation. With this training, you will better understand how to reduce mortality adult patients suffering from cardiovascular problems, including acute coronary syndromes and acute ischemic strokes. There is an emphasis on CPR, team interaction and communication.
After completing an online course you will attend this 2 hour skills session to review how to assess, care for and resuscitate pediatric patients with respiratory, shock, and cardiac emergencies. With this training, you will be better prepared to understand how to reduce mortality of pediatric patients. Skills and treatments of potential and actual pediatric victims of cardiopulmonary emergencies.
