Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion encompass the recognition of individuals from varied racial backgrounds, belief systems, socioeconomic standings, and more, while ensuring their equitable treatment and fostering a sense of belonging in both professional settings and communities.
Our DEI initiatives delve into implicit biases, cultural proficiency, and additional elements designed to enhance the overall ethos of institutions.
Our workshops aspire to illuminate these delicate subjects in a manner that is supportive, captivating, and devoid of intimidation.
Does your company have a plan in place in the event of an Active Shooter/Active Threat situation? Unfortunately, these situations are becoming more prevalent and the best way to survive the unthinkable is to be prepared. This 90-minute workshop will provide you with skills we hope you'll never need but could save your life!
We provide a 90-minute training session focused on active shooter preparedness. This involves studying the history of active shooter incidents in the United States, understanding the "run, hide, fight" approach, and addressing workplace violence concerns. Moreover, our services extend to policy review and aiding in policy implementation. Additionally, we cover bleeding control techniques that empower individuals to take action before professional help arrives.
This course is an excellent choice for businesses, schools and religious institutions.
Many civilians have expressed interest in taking a bleeding control training course that would empower them to immediately assist victims of active shooter and other intentional mass casualty events at the point of wounding, according to results of a new national poll published in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons. Furthermore, the vast majority of civilians support training and equipping police officers to perform severe bleeding control on victims as soon as possible rather than wait for emergency medical services (EMS) personnel to arrive on the scene. There's also strong public support for putting bleeding control kits in public places where large crowds gather, similar to the way that automatic external defibrillators are now found in airports and shopping malls for use by responders who have undergone cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.
The interactive workshop is thoughtfully crafted to equip attendees with essential situational awareness skills. Whether participants are working in a school environment, meeting clients in the field, or enjoying leisure time, having a heightened sense of situational awareness is paramount to ensuring personal safety and well-being.
During the workshop, the facilitators will present a comprehensive set of situational awareness tips. These tips are designed to sharpen participants' ability to observe and interpret their surroundings, identify potential risks, and make informed decisions to stay safe. By developing a keen sense of situational awareness, attendees will be better prepared to respond proactively and mitigate potential threats in various settings.
Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. In the Mental Health First Aid course, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.
We offer both the adult and your versions of this course.
American Heart Association CPR/ AED

These courses teach skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.
The All Hazards Disaster Response (AHDR) course teaches students how to respond to the many types of disaster scenarios they may encounter, including natural disasters and infrastructure failings, fires and radiological events, pandemics, active shooter incidents, and other mass casualty events. AHDR educates participants on how to analyze potential threats in their area, assess available resources, and create a response plan that will save lives.
"Active Shooter Awareness" and "Safe Travels" can be delivered in Spanish upon request.
This two-hour course is designed to teach you a few basic moves that can help you fend off an attack. While the course was designed for women, the tactics are great for anyone who wants to learn to protect themselves.
