This advanced course for CIT-trained officers builds on foundational de-escalation skills, providing experienced officers with advanced techniques for managing high-stakes, complex, or rapidly evolving situations. Participants will explore behavioral assessment, tactical communication, and scenario-based exercises designed to improve decision-making, reduce the likelihood of use-of-force incidents, and enhance officer and public safety. The training emphasizes practical application, policy compliance, and strategies for interacting with diverse and vulnerable populations.Â
