This 4-hour course was originally delivered at the National Conference on EMS in 2019. It is designed to educate EMS providers on the history of modern day active shooter events and discuss the paradigm shift of the response to these incidents.
There will be ample instruction on tourniquet use and other bleeding control techniques that can used not only during critical incidents but during every day responses. Participants will receive 4 CEUs for this course.
This course provides an overview of legal and illicit drugs EMTs, Paramedics, and other first responders might encounter on the street. Packaging, routes of ingestion, physiological effects and other details will be discussed. The presenter is a veteran Paramedic/Police Officer who has experience as a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE). 2.0 CEUs will be awarded.
A 2-hour course intended to give you the tools to verbally de-escalate potentially volatile situations while improving your ability to communicate more effectively in general. Attendees will be awarded 2 CEUs.

Court proceedings often happen years after the call, and a well- written report might be your only recollection. Students will be immersed in an interactive experience complete with mock legal proceedings.
This course is designed to teach EMS providers to function effectively while limiting disruption of crime scenes. By improving situational awareness, EMS providers can assist law enforcement with their investigation while still ensuring that patient care is always the priority. The 2nd edition of NAEMT's Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course is a 2-day course that teaches EMS practitioners and other prehospital providers how to respond to and care for patients in an active shooter or other civilian tactical environment. This course is approved for 12 BLS and 16 ALS CEUs.

The Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC) course focuses on critical pediatric physiology, illnesses, injuries and interventions to help EMS practitioners provide the best treatment for sick and injured children in the field. The course stresses critical thinking skills to help practitioners make the best decisions for their young patient. Students complete an online portion prior to attending the 8-hour classroom session.

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECCLEO) teaches first responders to manage life-threatening injuries in situations where seconds matter. It is designed to decrease preventable deaths in tactical situations. This course is great for police or other first responders with limited medical training.
The Burlington County Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) program is a community partnership of law enforcement, mental health and addiction professionals, individuals who live with mental illness and/or addiction disorders, their families, and other partners to improve community responses to mental health crises.
This course is designed to provide officers with the knowledge and skills to successfully intervene during an active threat event. Students will become proficient through the utilization of dynamic interactive drills and scenario-based training.
